The Mission of Catalyst is to provide agency service we would most want if we were the artist.

This includes:

We are explicitly idealistic: We believe that art and entertainment have profound emotional and even spiritual effects on the audience, and we are highly motivated to advance these effects.
Each client is important and special: We represent each client as a unique and complete artist and human being.
We support the artist to the widest extent in the media: We cover animated, digital, and live motion pictures and television as well as all present and future interactive media.
We make two promises:

1. Flawless reputation for honesty in all dealings and

2. Passionate and enthusiastic presentation of the artist and the artist’s work.

The BUSINESS of Catalyst is based on our Mission.

Guarding the most favorable ratio of clients to agent we have ever known (which requires the most intensive review of each prospective client).
Compared to many agencies, we have far fewer clients per agent. We are less specialized than many small agencies, covering all the media described above. For individual artists, we commission the client at the standard 10% of all deals made during the term of representation. We favor this over the practice of some agencies, which undertake one project at a time. For corporate clients, terms are arranged case by case, recognizing differences between individuals and corporate entities; still, the terms derive from our mission, as described above.
